Kris is a man of many identities. One of them—as befits a man of his demographic and need for creative outlets—is a livejournal pseudonym.

How do I know this? Well, a couple of months ago, Kris related a typically colorful anecdote involving an intoxicant, a foray, and a brush with adversity. I’m leaving out the specifics—which is more than Kris did when talking to me.

Less than twenty-four hours after the stakes were established, I had Kris fully busted. It was too easy—I just punched a few details of his tale into a livejournal search engine, and up popped a short enough selection of possible candidates that the one that was written in typical Kris prose leapt right out at me. A couple of peeks into posts by the same author and I knew I had my man.

That reminds me…Kris, you’ve never made good on that wager!
